Our headquarters is based in central Brighton, down in the lanes just off the seafront. We operate a hybrid-working model of 2 days per week in the office, and 3 days working from home.
Purpose of this role:
As the Performance Marketing Manager (Paid Search & Shopping) at MPB, you will be responsible for the performance of our paid search and shopping channels in order to drive the Buy and Sell side of the MPB business, ensuring inventory supply and ultimately revenue.
You will lead the strategy, execution, and optimisation of paid search and shopping campaigns to achieve key performance metrics and business objectives. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounts as part of an in-house performance marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive paid search and shopping strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant channels.
Manage and optimise keyword targeting, bid strategies and ad copy to maximise ROI and achieve performance goals.
Conduct regular performance analysis and optimisation, including A/B testing and campaign refinements.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align paid search and shopping efforts with broader marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and platform updates to implement innovative strategies and tactics.
Manage budgets effectively, allocating resources to achieve optimal results and ROI.
Lead the development and implementation of testing and experimentation plans to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Skills Required:
Extensive, hands-on experience of running paid search and shopping campaigns, with demonstrated success in achieving performance goals.
Experience of working for or with a marketplace or re-commerce business is desirable
Certifications in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or other relevant digital advertising certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Experience managing budgets, forecasting performance, and achieving targets in a performance-driven environment.
Knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and SA360.
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, as well as A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
