The role
Join our People Operations team as a Working Student (m/f/d) in Human Resources and play an active role in shaping a great employee experience—from onboarding to contract management, reference letters, and HR data quality in systems like Hibob. You’ll support day-to-day operational and administrative tasks while gaining hands-on exposure to modern HR processes in an international environment. Beyond the operational core, this role offers a broader view of the full HR lifecycle and the opportunity to collaborate with People Business Partners on talent initiatives, giving you valuable insight into how HR drives culture, engagement, and business success.
What you will be doing
Working on and processing day-to-day employee requests via our internal ticketing system, managing the shared HR inbox and answering first line queries.
Preparing employment contracts and contract amendments based on existing templates
Maintaining digital and paper personnel files (Personalakten)
Updating employee data in HR systems and ensuring data completeness and accuracy
Drafting standard HR correspondence, such as confirmations and certificates
Maintaining benefits data, e.g. job tickets and company pension information
Supporting annual salary review processes, including data preparation and checks
Supporting the employee lifecycle and assuring a great employee experience during On and-Off-boarding.
What we are looking for
You are currently enrolled as a student in Germany ideally studying Business Administration (BWL), Business Psychology (Wirtschaftspsychologie) or a comparable field.
You're able to work from our Berlin office up to 3 days per week/ up to 20 hours per week
Ideally, you already have experience in HR/People & Culture (through studies, internships, or previous work experience) and are interested in building your career in this field
You are fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level in both)
You demonstrate a high level of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive employee data, payroll information, and visa processes
You are confident using Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
You have an interest in digital tools and AI applications; experience with Gemini, ChatGPT or similar tools is an advantage
You are able to manage multiple tasks with high levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
You are highly organized, reliable, and can work effectively, both independently and within a collaborative team setting
